Interesting idea about the eagle carrying guns. The idea about dive bombing - eagles might do it but helicopters don't :-D

I need ideas for 101st graphics for two of the three elements we will have under 101st:

101st Airborne Ground Task Force
101st Airborne Aviation Task Force

Perhaps something more spiffier in name as well.
These would be custom unit patches not in existance elsewhere. I can do the technical graphics work, but I'm not very good with illustration or conjuring up a cool logo.
I was thinking along the lines of having a spade shaped patch, red over blue background, the screaming eagle on top red half, and some sort of symbol in the bottom blue half to reflect either the ground forces or the aviation forces.

I was thinking of a spade, which has a history in the 101st, maybe with a rotor on top symbolizing aviation, or scull. or maybe the crossed infantry rifles for ground forces on top of an eagle claw.
