Police knew he made deadly threats when they arrived. Officer drew his weapon at the start of the chase after the guy hit him because the officer didn't complete the patdown (I'm assuming that's completed after the cuffs) to verify that he didn't have a weapon, so the officer was in immediate danger. Gun fell out as he was running. Idiot stopped to pick it up. I don't think any other information matters. I don't even think the officer had to even explain anything about the guy turning towards him or about the car coming.
The interesting part was the guy at the church jumped out there and implored the officer not to shoot anymore as if the the shot guy falling in a ditch wouldn't be enough. I don't get this culture of believing cops are out to shoot black people. Cops will shoot anyone that presents a deadly threat.

It's going to get worse before it gets better. I like the idea of the body cams so maybe people can finally see whether or not the shootings are justified.

*GRAPHIC VIDEO*
This happened last Saturday in the city where I'm from. The guy who got shot was from the same College that I go to. Crazy stuff, and I am not defending no sides because reports say he had a gun, I couldn't tell in the clip. 5 shots when the guy has his back turned seems like a bit too much, but then again the dude shouldn't of put himself in that situation. I like the whole body cam stuff, I think more police need them for evidence. The whole clip of arrival to depature down below named Shooting just click if you want to see the whole thing.
