Would it be possible to add a GameTracker monitor or even better,a TSViewer for our TS3?
Similar to what we have for the servers

huh?
You lost me.
Tactics have nothing to do with the server and the server is fixed. Also wrong thread.

having a TS3 server monitor is good to show how many people online and the likes. We used to have a monitor for TS2.

I just changed the thread to TeamSpeak 3 Monitor.
Also, besides GameTracker, one of the best monitors for TS is

http://www.tsviewer.com

The TS2 monitor we had was custom fit for our website, which it would have to be for ts3 as well. Tsviewer doesn't suit our needs. I've started work on a TS3 monitor, but finishing it isn't a priority right now.

Now, I took TS2 monitor off because:
It was suggested to me that people were not bothering to log into teamspeak if they saw nobody on it playing their game. They may or may not play a game, but would often not log into TS and the problem just increased upon itself. Others would see nobody on and not bother playing the game thinking nobody else was, and so on.

So, begs the question and the results of the test of taking the monitor off: Was it helpful or hurtful?

good question. Personally, back in the day, when I would see someone on TS, I would log in right away.
Maybe just that GT banner?

Right now not having the monitor seems to be negatively affecting because, with the 5+ people in each gaming channel on at any given point; members are not checking or logging in to see.

Agreed

I'll even admit to not wanting to log onto TS since no one else was on. It's a never ending negative cycle of "since no one's on, I wont log on either".

I hated the idea of being able to see into an empty TS server, now if there was a constant flow of people being on all the time with like more than 10 people on at any given point, thats a completely different story. :-D

Well to me. I'm usually on TS
Even if I'm afk. So this monitor in my idea would be good.

I usually stick in the aa2 channel. If people talk an I'm not there sorry. :-D

I believe we should have such a monitor.

Shad, why not use TS Viewer or GameTracker until our custom monitor is ready?
I would recommend either until our custom monitor is ready.

Added to the middle, but it's taking up lots of space.
I will probably create something custom in the future as I did with TS2.

Hmm
For some reason, GameTracker is not able to scan the TS3 server and gives a "server down".
Would it be possible to fix it?

I'll check the TS3 server logs tonight to see if it is a problem on our end
