As I mentioned prevoiusly the edit profile page has been updated. You can change your own activity status.
There are 4 status types: 'vacant','active','inactive','leave','hardware'
  • Vacant means you're longer part of the team.
  • Active, means for all we know, you're still here.
  • Inactive, means nobody has heard from you in a long while and we cannot contact you. Typically these folks are moved to IRR and then finally removed
  • Leave, means you are going to be inactive for a period of time.
  • Hardware means your computer is out or for whatever reason, but you can still participate in web site activities or check in from time to time, but cannot be active in games.

Your status is listed in your avatar area in your
<-- forum posts, and on the roster in edit + list mode.

The hardware, leave, and inactive status' require a reason. You can hover your mouse pointer over the status text to see the reason if there is one.

I am working on the abilty of officers to edit their troops activity status, that is not quite done yet.
I am also working on the ability of officers to have a configurable automated 'Report In' function that sends out emails with a clickable link in it allowing troops to update their status. If not heard from in a pre-determined (configurable) amount of time, their status will be automatically set to 'inactive', and I might include the option to move to IRR and vacate after another configurable amount of time.

I was thinking of the new version of the officer edit form not being available yet. I forgot I had that in the current version has had that capability for some time now. I'm losing memory in my old age...

Losing his memory at his old age? he lost it when we got married, I'm the one that finds the car keys when he forgets where he put them, I'm the one that finds his wallet, heck I'm the one that find's everything for him, I'm surprised he can find anything on the truck with me not there to find it for him, but I still love you honey, wouldn't trade you for any guy in the world :-D
