Hello

I know that for financial reasons we stopped having an AA3 server. Now my question is, if I find a cheaper AA3 server(with quality) would it be possible to get it?Obviously donations would need to flow for us to keep it, but I figure that if the AA3 server is cheaper and if our AA3 recruitement restarts to be active, we should be fine.

here is what I found as far as AA3 honor server prices:

GameServers

20 slots for 69.95/month

Art of War

20 slots for 59.80/month

CoLink

20 slots for 55.80/month

Hostile

20 slots for 65/month

Personally I recommend both GameServers and CoLink. I have dealt with both companies and they are both reliable and have good quality.

Art of War has a great reputation, however I never dealt with them

Pricing wise, the two cheapest are CoLink and Art of War, with GameServers being the most expensive

In my opinion.. focus on recruiting and donations first, worry about the AA3 server later, as of now the team is in danger of possibly having NO server to call there own.. even if it is for a short period of time... in other words finances and team support just aren't there yet if you ask me..

The team dominantly plays AA2 and a select amount of players do not meet the required PC specifications to run AA3 "optimally".

I believe the subject of "cheaper" AA3 servers was brought to the attention of higher command at some point or another.. but to this day the team remains without an AA3 server..why you ask?... DONATIONS, DONATIONS, and more DONATIONS... we've been over many of these subjects/topics at least 5 times..

I agree with you.
We need to figure a way for more donations.
Maybe offering a way for people to mail in their donations?
I remember back in the day(2005+) we had that option for people.

August I'm absolutely sure that option is still available but that isn't the major issue in this case if you ask me, the team needs to find more dedicated players with the ability to donate as well.. so for you guys who just go recruiting the first player you run into... consider it next time instead of just thinking about recruiting as a way of being promoted.. and looking good in the eyes of your peers/C.O.

If you make your CO look good, then in the end, it makes you look good. Thats how chain of command works.

If you reread the sitrep post again about all the stuff they want to put into the game and their timeline for it.....you'd find your answer why there isnt any of that in the game yet. IT TAKES TIME to program all of the stuff that they already have and time for the beta testers to find and report the bugs then more time for the devs to fix it.

Bottom line, every game takes time. Bare minimum it takes 2 years for game to be developed before it hits the stores, and 2 years is pushing it hard with a huge team. Once the game releases they dont do much else with it from that point on. The AA Development team is constantly fixing bugs and releasing new stuff out to their testers. Things just take time and the game has only been out for a little under a year so far.
