 Officer ranks are appointed, there are no 'automatic' promotions based on time. Promotions are based on leadership, volunteerism, and activity.
As of this post, enlisted promotions use the following schedule:

| Specialist SPC | 4 | 2 |
| Corporal CPL | 4 | 2 |
| Sergeant SGT | 8 | 4 |
| Staff Sergeant SSG | 17 | 9 |
| Sergeant First Class SFC | 26 | 9 |
| Master Sergeant MSG | 39 | 13 |
| First Sergeant 1SG | 52 | 13 |
| Sergeant Major SGM | 78 | 26 |
| Command Sergeant Major CSM | 104 | 26 |
The website does not automatically promote people, so leaders keep an eye on your enlisted to see if they are eligible for promotion. If you have a problem with errors and such let me know.
IRR is where we put everyone who is not active. However, enlisted in IRR will still be promoted according to the chart whenever they come back from inactivity.
